Ms. Salma, the visionary founder of Munawwer Jahan Apna Model School, began with nothing but a deep sense of purpose and an unshakable belief in the power of education. Walking the streets of Rawalpindi, she gathered the city’s poorest children—those who had never known the inside of a classroom—and began teaching them in a single room. What started as a humble effort to give these children a chance at a better future soon grew into a full-fledged school, now spanning 12 grades and producing graduates pursuing higher education.

Through sheer determination and an unwavering commitment to social justice, Ms. Salma transformed her one-room classroom into a beacon of hope for underprivileged children. Her school not only provides academic instruction but also instills resilience, confidence, and the belief that education can break the cycle of poverty. Today, the success stories of her students stand as a testament to her extraordinary vision—one that continues to uplift generations and redefine possibilities for those who need it most.
